CCPL-Billing Associate - (San Luis Obispo)
Responsibilities include data entry, verification of insurance coverage, determining status of claims, problem resolution, scanning, customer service and other duties as assigned.
Also includes responding knowledgeably (in person and via telephone) to inquiries from patients, physicians, insurance companies regarding covered charges, remittance advices, pricing and other billing questions.
Prior experience with CPT, ICD-9 coding, and insurance a must.
Must be computer literate and have excellent customer service skills.
Detail oriented with ability to prioritize and direct workflow.
Strong administrative skills.
High school diploma or GED required.
