RN Clinical Charge - ICU - Full Time Nights - (San Luis Obispo)
Works with the Department Director to assure the planning, coordination, and provision of nursing care to patients on specified units and specified shifts.
Supervises and delegates care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice.
Works with the Department Director.
Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification:
Current CA RN License, BLS, ACLS.
Minimum one year previous crititcal care, step down or telemetry experience and basic computer skills.
Desired Training/Education/Experience/Certification:
Previous charge nurse experience in Critical Care setting; CCRN or RNC.
Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.
Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
