We re Hiring Recreational Therapists Our client a State of California Correctional Facility is seeking Licensed Recreational Therapists for full time contract assignments Initial assignments are expected to last a minimum of 6 months with possibility of extension Under the direction of the Institution rsquo;s Facility rsquo;s CEO CMH CMO or designee Recreation Therapist rsquo;s duties responsibilities shall include but are not limited to the following requirements c Evaluate recreation therapy needs for Patients Inmates and or DJJ Youth with particular attention to activities of daily living communication skills physical exercise and positive coping strategies Minimum of twelve 12 continuous months of experience within the last three 3 years performing services similar in scope to those defined herein in a public or private institution Internship does not count towards the required experience All Recreation Therapists must have the required licenses permits and or certifications noted herein Source:
