WARD CLERK - L&D - PART TIME DAYS Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent, BLS.
Desired Training/Education/Experience/Certification:
(1) Previous experience as a Unit Clerk/Assistant in a hospital setting, (2) Previous computer order entry experience.
Must have working knowledge of basic medical terminology and be computer literate.
Must be able to decipher physician orders and complete requisitions.
Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment.
Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.
Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
